Medical school and other healthcare training curriculums must be designed to appropriately train cultural competence. By proactively beginning to think about culturally competent healthcare delivery, the healthcare leaders of tomorrow can take steps towards addressing broader healthcare disparities and health inequities that afflict the U.S. healthcare system.
