Mr. James F. Jordan, MBA, is a Distinguished Service Professor of Health Care & Biotechnology Management, and Senior Director of Health Care and Biotechnology Programs at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. He also serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, a public-private economic and venture fund owned by Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. A recognized expert in market development and guiding the successful formation of entrepreneurial startup businesses, Mr. Jordan recently authored Innovation, Commercialization, and Start-ups in Life Sciences, published by Taylor & Francis Group.
